When we start working with any airline, we will be in training for 6 months. Once the training is completed, we will start as Air hostesses or Flight Attendants. In domestic airlines, the Air Hostess / Cabin Crew grows as a Senior Cabin Crew after working for a few years. Almost all the airlines have different growth plans for Cabin Crew. After helping for an essential time in our position, we can either choose to become a Trainer or a Base Manager.


Once we reach to senior level, with an experience of more than 10 years in duty with the flight department of the airlines, a few crew members can get ground office responsibilities or get posted at head offices for Flight Services Manager and get promoted to Director Cabin Services or Director-In-flight Services, which is a senior most position.


If we work for a domestic airline, the basic salary might be in between Rs. 25,000 – 40,000 per month. It is directed that we gain work experience at the beginning of our career and then move to international airlines.


Once we have the experience of 3+ years we can expect a salary of more than Rs. 50,000 per month with free accommodation and many other traveling benefits.


As an Air Hostess/ Cabin Crew in an international airline, we can earn a basic salary of Rs.60, 000 to 100,000 per month.
